The 22nd International Conference and Exhibition on Power and Telecommunications (ICEPT 2026),
organized by the Nigerian Institution of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (NIEEE), is set to
provide a global platform for knowledge exchange, innovation showcase, and interdisciplinary
collaboration. This hybrid event (in-person and virtual) brings together researchers, industry
experts, policymakers, and academics to explore emerging trends shaping the future of energy and
telecommunications.
With the central theme “Energy Transition in a Digital Era: The Nexus, Challenges and Opportunities”,
the conference will examine how digital technologies intersect with modern energy systems. Discussions
will span artificial intelligence applications, renewable energy integration, smart grids, and
sustainable engineering practices, all aimed at accelerating the global transition toward cleaner,
smarter, and more resilient energy infrastructure.
